GIZMO | SIGNATURE SESSION

It was a very emotional end to 2015 for me, with Gizmo’s very special Signature Session, which took place on New Year’s Eve. I met with Gizmo and his mum at Castle Ashby in Northamptonshire (one of my all time favourite photo locations) in the afternoon – I had all my fingers and toes crossed for decent weather, but I simply wasn’t prepared for the gorgeous golden light that presented itself to us as we walked the grounds. Gizmo had been diagnosed with lung cancer a few weeks earlier, but you wouldn’t have know he was ill – he took everything in his stride and posed up a storm – it turned into a really magical afternoon with the sun setting around us. As the session drew to a close, the heavens opened and it poured down with rain, so it was a quick dash back to the car before heading home (to a warm doggy bed and plenty of treats!).
