The launch of The Artisan Hound has been so much more than a new name and website. It’s created a stronger connection between me and my artwork, and it’s also been an amazing opportunity to me to revisit exactly what I offer my clients when they book a photography session for their dogs. I’ve introduced a few new fine art products that I know you’re going to love, and I’ll be shining a light on those in the coming months. But for now, I want to take it from the top.

When you book a session, it’s not just about the shoot itself (although that part is awesome too!). I’ve taken great care to curate your experience from start to finish – from the moment you lift the lid on your welcome box to the day when your artwork arrives, ready to take centre stage in your home.

It starts with The Signature Session – an on-location experience tailored to humans and hounds that love the outdoors, and all of the beauty that nature has to offer. With that in mind, I knew that I needed a piece of artwork that was as natural and beautifully unique as the sessions themselves – and that’s how the wooden photo block was born.

Included with every session, these photo blocks are crafted from natural reclaimed wood – which means that every single one is totally one-of-a-kind, and carries its own unique history and character. With a 7″x5″ fine art print mounted behind acrylic, these blocks are the perfect size for displaying on a desk, bookshelf, or mantelpiece, and are a great starting point for building your artwork collection.

I’m so excited to be able to offer these exclusive pieces of artwork with my sessions – I genuinely think my heart skipped a beat when I first laid eyes on them, and I knew straight away that they would be an incredible addition to The Artisan Hound experience.
